I haven’t been blogging much. Actually, I haven’t been in communication much at all on any level or medium. I even deleted some of my online accounts. I’ve been in a bit of a funk and figure if nobody is reading, what is the point of posting? And yet…. here I am.  Go figure. Maybe sometimes we just need to release things in our minds to something, somewhere.

Not really too much going on. I have just been working and playing Xbox 360. I haven’t heard too much about Ghost Rider, but want to see it. I saw that it had a big draw on opening weekend, but that’s all I heard.
I need to take the Jeep in for a recall notice I received on a ball joint problem. I’ll have to tend to that when I get some time.
I played a little of Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfare online tonight. I always liked the series of games, but this one has been hard for me to get used to. I don’t know why. I also played a demo of Battlestations: Midway tonight until it kicked me out of the game. I might like that.  But, it could be very long games. But, I had no idea what I was doing.

My dog fell down the steps to the basement this morning.  She has a hard time seeing in the daylight. The bright sun and the snow is a bad combination for her.  When she came back in from being let out this morning, she walked right to the door to the steps, apparently thinking she was going from the kitchen to the dining room. She fell all the way down. I had to work to get her back up; and she was stressed/upset.  She acts sore tonight.
I’ve been noticing that she hasn’t been walking as fast…. and she seems to be having a harder time knowing where she is lately. I’m beginning to wonder if it’s time.  But, I hate to do it if she still has some good life in her.
I have a decision to make.

This is about Today…. as in this blog and also about the day.
There are some things I don’t like about this way of posting to the blog. I had been using “Elicit” to post to my blogs before the blogs started changing and BingoBango software went A.W.O.L.  I liked that I could post to multiple blogs quickly. But, that doesn’t work on “Today” and Blogger’s recent upgrade broke Elicit for it, too.
Watched “Heroes” the other night and I thought it wasn’t as good. Maybe they’ll get better again.
I had to go back to the place I was at during the “blizzard” the other day.  They were having some problems with printing and some problems with one of their software programs. Of course, the software problems were blamed on the network and new computers by the software maker, when the problem was their database needing rebuilt because of the installation routine of the software. That’s typical, though.

Apparently, a “blizzard” hit here. Now, I don’t think of a “blizzard” as what we got. We did get 6 inches of snow before the afternoon; but, that word doesn’t seem to include the sleet, rain, freezing rain, and ice coating that we also got. As I was leaving in the early afternoon to do the computer installation 40 miles away, it had just started mixing sleet with the heavy snow. I really like the snow, but would rather it was when I could get out to the parks to take some photos. As I drove further south, it changed to all rain, which had left a coating of ice on the walkways and parking lots. Luckily, the parking lot still had enough snow/slush on it to make the surface rough enough to walk on. The sidewalk was another story; and I was certainly glad that the business has a full lenght awning in front. Driving home after 9 last night, the roads were slushy and slick…. trying to freeze again. So, there was some slick road surface to contend with. Overall, I made it around with not problem. I was informed, however, that the local law-enforcement in Ohio (as typical) was threatening to arrest people for being on the roads. Typical. That is freedom at work in our society. Bah! Tin dictators.
UPDATE: I forgot to add that it’s snowing more this morning.

Heroes is on tonight. I like the show, but it seems that they are dragging out the big “event” without showing us enough progress of the Heroes toward their being heroes. Last week, they showed us who Claire’s father is, which wasn’t a surprise. I had told my brother the week before who it was. After they showed him, my brother said, “How did you know that!?”
I’m not so sure I’m liking the way they are taking Ali Larter’s character, either. But, it’s Ali Larter, so I can live with it.Â
I saw “Claire” in make-up commercials and I still can’t get over the fact that she was “Maddy.”  Actually, I’ve seen her in several things.

I did a Patriot Guard Riders mission today in East Liverpool, Ohio. The weather was extremely cold; but we had a good turn-out. The temperature was only 10 degrees when we arrived and the wind was blowing hard at the cemetary. There were actually about 10 motorcycles and the rest were in cars; about 50 people total. Along the route from the church to the cemetary; many people stood with flags to show their support. That always impresses me. I was glad to see it; especially given how cold it was.
I’m going to go watch “Grudge 2″ which I bought yesterday.

Received the rental of Chromehounds for the Xbox360 yesterday. I played it for about 30 minutes. I don’t really care for it. I will be sending it back today; though I might try it on Live, first.

“Ghost Rider” is scheduled to come out in about a week. It’s too bad the weather is going to be so cold, as I (and many others) would have liked to don the gear and arrive on my bike.
Another motorcycle movie is “Wild Hogs” which is supposed to premiere on 3/4. It might be funny. It has John Travolta, Tim Allen, Martin Lawrence, and William H. Macy as “weekend warriors”.
The tag line for it is: “
A lot can happen on the road to nowhere.
Four guys from the suburbs hit the road… and the road hit back.
The plot outline is:
“A group of suburban biker wannabes look for adventure hit the open road in search of adventure, but get more than they bargained for when they encounter a New Mexico gang called the Del Fuegos.”
